Principal Message

Dear Bahia Vista Families,

I am excited to share a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to become even more involved in their child’s education through PIQE (Parent Institute for Quality Education).

PIQE is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to empowering families with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support their children’s academic success—from elementary school through college and beyond.

📘 What Is the PIQE Family Engagement Program?

PIQE’s Signature Family Engagement Program is an 8-week workshop series designed to help families become strong partners in their child’s educational journey. The program is engaging, practical, and focused on real-life tools families can use right away.

🧠 What Families Will Learn:

Strategies to build their child’s positive self-esteem
Tools to navigate the school system with confidence
Guidance on preparing a college-going plan
Tips on online safety and digital citizenship
Ways to expand digital skills for today’s online world
Access to family resources and academic supports
And much more!
