Upcoming ELPAC Testing for Grades K-2 📝
It is time for our annual ELPAC (English Language Proficiency Assessments for California) testing! This assessment helps us understand how our students are progressing in their English language development and ensures we are providing the best possible support for their learning.
🗓️ Important Dates
Testing for our Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade students will take place between: Tuesday, April 28 – Friday, May 15
🔍 What to Expect
For our younger learners (K-2), the ELPAC is administered one-on-one with a trained examiner. This allows your child to feel comfortable and supported while they show us what they know in:
- Listening
- Speaking
- Reading
- Writing

You can help your child do their best by:

Ensuring a good night’s sleep: Rested brains are ready to learn!

Eating a healthy breakfast: Fuel is important for focus.

Arriving on time: Being at school by the first bell helps students feel calm and ready for the day.
