School Site Council Parent Nominations

Dear Bahia Vista Families,
Are you interested in taking a active role in your child's education and helping guide our school’s priorities? We are now accepting nominations for parent and guardian representatives to join the Bahia Vista School Site Council (SSC)!

What is the School Site Council?
The SSC is a team composed of school staff, parents, and community members working together to support student achievement. As a parent member, you will:

• Review and update our Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
• Provide input on how school funding and instructional resources are allocated.
• Collaborate directly with school leadership to support academic success and campus community.

Who Can Join?Any parent or legal guardian of a current Bahia Vista student! No prior leadership experience is required—just a passion for supporting our school community.

Time Commitment:Meetings are held once a month for approximately 1 hour in person. 

How to Submit a Nomination:You can nominate yourself or another parent/guardian (with their permission).

• Submission Deadline: Monday, August 24
• How to Nominate: Complete the School Site Council Parent Nomination Form, if you need a paper copy, please come to the main office.
