Multicultural Dress Day - Friday September 18

Posted Date: 09/14/26 (11:05 AM)

Dear Bahia Vista Parents,
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and Latin American Independence Day, we are excited to celebrate Multicultural Dress Day on Friday, September 18! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to honor and share their heritage by wearing clothing that represents their culture. Students are invited to come dressed in traditional attire that reflects their family’s background. Participation is optional, and students who choose not to wear cultural clothing are welcome to come in regular school uniform/dress code. The fashion show will take place, like last year, during students' morning recess (9:00-9:20 am for TK students; 9:50-11:10 am for Kinder, 2nd and 4th grade; 10:15-10:35 am for 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade) at the flagpole. In addition, below you will find a flyer about our Multicultural Heritage Celebration that will occur after school at the TK/Kinder Playground. Please keep an eye out for family signups for the potluck at the front gate. We look forward to celebrating the rich diversity of our school community together!
