Working Together for Our Students

At Bahia Vista Elementary School, our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays an important role in strengthening our school community and supporting student success.

The PTA brings together families, teachers, and staff to enhance educational experiences and build a strong sense of school community.

Through fundraising, volunteering, and schoolwide events, our PTA helps make Bahia Vista a special place for all our Dragons!

 

What Does Our PTA Do?

Our PTA works collaboratively with school staff and families to support programs, activities, and opportunities that benefit our students.

PTA efforts may include:

  • Supporting Classrooms: Providing teachers and students with additional supplies, materials, and resources.

  • School Events & Celebrations: Helping organize activities that bring students, families, and staff together.

  • Fundraising: Raising funds to support educational programs, enrichment opportunities, and school needs.

  • Teacher & Staff Appreciation: Recognizing the hard work and dedication of our school staff.

  • Building Community: Creating opportunities for families to connect, build relationships, and become more involved in school life.

There are many ways to support the Bahia Vista PTA! Whether you have a little time or a lot, your involvement makes a difference.

You can get involved by:

  • Attending PTA meetings

  • Volunteering at school events

  • Sharing ideas and suggestions

  • Participating in school celebrations

  • Becoming a PTA member

We welcome and value the participation of all families. Every contribution, big or small, helps strengthen our school community!

 

PTA Meetings

PTA meetings provide an opportunity for families to learn about upcoming events, hear updates, share ideas, and help support school initiatives.

Meeting Schedule: Second Thursday of every month 6-7pm

Location: Zoom— reach out to a PTA member or the front office staff for the link
